The story of two teenage girls stepping onto the threshold of adulthood.
Experience the powerful storytelling of contemporary ballet combined with live folk music
The Poems That Rachel Wrote is an original ballet inspired by the beautiful music of award-winning singer and songwriter Carol Montag. This production highlights the journey of two girls of opposite character during teenage years that are rife with insecurities and questions of self-worth. Throughout the performance the girls change places into each others shoes, learn to deal with friends, and come to the conclusion that fitting in is an internal event and not an external one.
