The Enduring Families Project
May 25 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
A PATCHWORK OF LOCAL HISTORY.
The Enduring Families Project is a theatre project which brings to life the stories of 19th Century African Americans that lived in La Crosse and its surrounding area: a presidential candidate, a politically active farmer, a vaudeville musician, a woman boarding house owner, several barbers, including one woman who owned her own barbershop. These stories, told through reenactments, run the gamut of life experiences in 19th Century La Crosse.
Presented by the Enduring Families Project which is generously sponsored by the La Crosse County Historical Society
