An event every day that begins at 7:30 pm, repeating until February 11, 2017
Overview
By Brian Friel
“It is not the literal past, the ‘facts’ of history, that shape us, but images of the past embodied in language.” – Brian Friel
Ireland’s greatest playwright weaves an intoxicating tale of nostalgia and stark reality in this Tony Award®-winning masterpiece. Drift back to late summer 1936 in County Donegal, where the Mundy sisters prepare for their village’s harvest celebration. Their brother Michael, a priest, returns from the mission fields to remind his sisters – and all of us – of our desperate need for community, happiness, dancing, and celebration.
