Described as the greatest pastoral opera ever composed, Acis and Galatea tells the tragic story of a nymph, Galatea, who is in love with the shepherd Acis. Their love is thwarted by the monstrous giant Polyphemus, who is himself in love with Galatea. Join the Viterbo music department as they present one of Handel’s most popular dramatic works.
