Bridge View Entertainment is seeking 2-3 local performers for the musical revue Postcards from Hollywood. Postcards will honor the Golden Age of Hollywood and feature Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen classics like “I’ve Got the World on a String,” “Stormy Weather,” and “Over the Rainbow.”
Auditions will be held Thursday evening, April 30, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts (428 Front St S, La Crosse, WI). Auditions are open to any and all interested community members age 18 and older, and those cast will be compensated.
Anyone who would like to audition should prepare a 16- to 32-bar cut of a song; an accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals will begin in late June, with performance dates beginning July 16 and ending August 7.
