SUMMARY:The Marriage of Figaro
DESCRIPTION:Discover Mozart’s enchanting world where love and mischief merge in a whirlwind of schemes and raucous antics. A valet wants to marry a maid but Count Almaviva has other ideas. Mistaken identities\, clever disguises\, and humorous misunderstandings come to life for an operatic experience that brims with pure joy and boundless entertainment. Produced by the Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT NOTICE:The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center’s official and exclusive ticketing partner is OvationTix. Make sure you are buying directly through that platform. We do not use a third-party ticket reseller/vendor. Do not purchase through unauthorized resellers\, as we will not be able to guarantee entry. SUMMARY:Arcadia
DESCRIPTION:It’s the wanting to know that makes us matter. \n\n\n\nArcadia moves back and forth between 1809 and the present at the elegant estate owned by the Coverly family. The 1809 scenes reveal a household in transition. As the Arcadian landscape is being transformed into picturesque Gothic gardens\, complete with a hermitage\, 13-year-old Lady Thomasina and her tutor delve into intellectual and romantic issues. Present day scenes depict the Coverly descendants and two competing scholars who are researching a possible scandal at the estate in 1809 involving Lord Byron. This brilliant play moves smoothly between the centuries and explores the nature of truth and time\, the difference between classical and romantic temperaments\, and the disruptive influence of sex on our life orbits: the attraction Newton left out. \n\n\n\nby Tom Stoppard“Arcadia” is presented by arrangement withConcord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French\, Inc.www.concordtheatricals.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates\n\n\n\n\nMay 23\, 2025 – 7:30pm\n\n\n\nMay 24\, 2025 – 7:30pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPricing
