SUMMARY:Arcadia
DESCRIPTION:It’s the wanting to know that makes us matter. \n\n\n\nArcadia moves back and forth between 1809 and the present at the elegant estate owned by the Coverly family. The 1809 scenes reveal a household in transition. As the Arcadian landscape is being transformed into picturesque Gothic gardens\, complete with a hermitage\, 13-year-old Lady Thomasina and her tutor delve into intellectual and romantic issues. Present day scenes depict the Coverly descendants and two competing scholars who are researching a possible scandal at the estate in 1809 involving Lord Byron. This brilliant play moves smoothly between the centuries and explores the nature of truth and time\, the difference between classical and romantic temperaments\, and the disruptive influence of sex on our life orbits: the attraction Newton left out. \n\n\n\nby Tom Stoppard“Arcadia” is presented by arrangement withConcord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French\, Inc.www.concordtheatricals.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates\n\n\n\n\nMay 23\, 2025 – 7:30pm\n\n\n\nMay 24\, 2025 – 7:30pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPricing

His pulse is so low that Saunders and his assistant Max believe he’s dead – and in a frantic attempt to salvage the evening\, Saunders persuades Max to get into Merelli’s costume and fool the audience into thinking he’s Il Stupendo. Max succeeds and lives up to his idol\, but Merelli regains consciousness and gets into the identical costume\, ready to perform. SUMMARY:Ken Ludwig's Lend Me a Tenor
DESCRIPTION:Saunders\, the general manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company\, is primed to welcome world-famous singer Tito Merelli\, known as Il Stupendo\, the greatest tenor of his generation\, to appear for one night only as the star of the opera. Tito arrives late\, and through a hilarious series of mishaps\, he is given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out. Now two opera singers are running around in the same costume and two women are running around in lingerie\, each thinking she is with Il Stupendo. A sensation on Broadway and in London’s West End\, this madcap\, screwball comedy is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter. \n\n\n\nA La Crosse Community Theatre Productionby Ken LudwigOriginally Produced by the American Stage Festival. \n\n\n\nPresented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French\, Inc.www.concordtheatricals.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates\n\n\n\n\nFriday\, October 10\, 2025 @ 7:30pm\n\n\n\nSaturday\, October 11\, 2025 @ 7:30pm\n\n\n\nSunday\, October 12\, 2025 @ 2:00pm\n\n\n\nThursday\, October 16\, 2025 @ 7:30pm\n\n\n\nFriday\, October 17\, 2025 @ 7:30pm\n\n\n\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025 @ 7:30pm\n\n\n\nSunday\, October 19\, 2025 @ 2:00pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPricing\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMilitary\, Student\, and CAP Discounts are available.
