SUMMARY:[Title of Show]
DESCRIPTION:A musical comedy about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical!\nCheck out audience reactions to opening weekend of [title of show].\nhttps://www.webercenterarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/title-of-showPromo-1.mp4\n[title of show] official promo reel.\nhttps://www.webercenterarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/BampWEXPORT.mp4\n  \nJeff and Hunter\, two struggling writers\, hear about a new musical theatre festival. However\, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose\, the pair decides to try to create something new with the help of their friends Susan\, Heidi and Mary on the eighty-eights. With the cast in place\, Jeff and Hunter begin a conversation about what to write about. Eventually\, Jeff suggests they write about what to write about. They make a pact to write up until the festival’s deadline and dream about the show changing their lives. [title of show]—taken from the space on the festival’s application form which asks for the [title of show]—follows Hunter and Jeff and their friends on their journey through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. In the span of 90 minutes they write and perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people\, friends and artists. [title of show] is\, above all\, a love letter to the musical theatre—a uniquely American art form—and to the joy of collaboration. The musical received a Tony Award® nomination for Best Book of a Musical in 2009. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts  \nTheater Rated – R \n[twocol_one] \nAll Performances are in the Veterans Studio Theatre\nDates\nFriday\, July 20 at 7:30 pm \nSaturday\, July 21 at 7:30 pm \nFriday\, July 27 at 7:30 pm \nSaturday\, July 28 at 7:30 pm \nFriday\, August 3 at 7:30 pm \nSaturday\, August 4 at 7:30 pm \nCast\n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nGeneral admission: $25 \ntaxes and fees not included \n Get Your Tickets Now » \n \n\n

SUMMARY:Stage on Screen: Coppelia
DESCRIPTION:  \nhttps://www.webercenterarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Coppélia-Bolshoi-Ballet-in-Cinema-Official-trailer.mp4\nMusic by Léo Delibes. Choreography by Sergei Vikharev after Marius Petipa and Enrico Cecchetti.\nSwanhilda notices her fianceé Franz is infatuated with the beautiful Coppélia who sits reading on her balcony each day. Nearly breaking up the two sweethearts\, Coppélia is not what she seems and Swanhilda decides to teach Franz a lesson. \nThe Bolshoi’s unique version of Coppélia exhibits a fascinating reconstruction of the original 19th century choreography of this ebullient comedy involving a feisty heroine\, a boyish fianceé with a wandering eye\, and an old dollmaker. The company’s stunning corps de ballet shines in the divertissements and famous “dance of the hours\,” and its principals abound in youthful energy and irresistible humor in this effervescent production. \nThe performers are the Bolshoi Principals\, Soloists\, and Corps de Ballet. \nOn-stage performances recorded live for broadcast\nEvery performance filmed and presented in High Definition with hearing assist available. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts and By Experience \n[twocol_one] \nDates\nSunday\, June 24 at 6:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nAdults:  $15\nStudents:  $8 \nGet Your Tickets Now » \n \n[/twocol_one_last]

SUMMARY:A Christmas Story
DESCRIPTION:We double-DOG-dare you to see it!\nAdult Ralph Parker recounts the Christmas he celebrated as a nine-year-old living with his parents and younger brother in northern Indiana. This particular Christmas was special: his contest-obsessed father won a prize and the never-ending battle with the house furnace. Ralphie faced challenges of his own: clashing with the town bullies and discovering a new relationship with soap. But most memorable was what he wanted more than anything for Christmas: an official Red Ryder carbine action 200-shot range model air rifle\, aka a BB gun. Retold with a touch of childhood fantasy\, these Christmas stories remind us all why we love the holidays. \nBy Philip Grecian. Based on the motion picture A Christmas Story c. 1983 Turner Entertainment Co.\, distributed by Warner Bros.\, written by Jean Shepherd\, Leigh Brown\, and Bob Clark; and on the book In God We Trust\, All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd. \nPresented by La Crosse Community Theatre\n \nTickets go on sale Monday\, November 20\, 2017. \nRated Theatre-G \n[twocol_one] \nPerformance Dates\nAll performances in the Lyche Theatre\nThursday\, December 7\, 7:30pm\nFriday\, December 8\, 7:30pm\nSaturday\, December 9\, 2:00pm and 7:30pm\nSunday\, December 10\, 2:00pm \nThursday\, December 14\, 7:30pm\nFriday\, December 15\, 7:30pm\nSaturday\, December 16\, 2:00pm and 7:30pm\nSunday\, December 17\, 2:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nThursdays\, Fridays & Saturdays Evenings: $28\nSunday Matinees: $24\nStudents: $16\nMilitary: $10 \n Get Your Tickets Now » \n[/twocol_one_last]
