SUMMARY:Steve Marking: My Mighty Mississippi
DESCRIPTION:2014 Debut\nTwo Chances – One Day Only\nWorld-class vocalist\, photographer and videographer Steven Marking celebrates the river he loves as he takes his audience for an all-seasons ride on the mighty Mississippi\, from the tributaries and backwaters to the sandbars and towns that line the shores of the main channel. Born and raised on the backwaters of the Upper Mississippi\, Steven has an innate knowledge of the twists and turns of the river and its ever-changing character. A consummate videographer and photographer\, Steven captures images that are both entertaining and breathtaking. From the great migration in fall to baby Wood Ducks leaping from their nest to boaters and fishermen in their favorite spots to spectacular video shot from the top deck of the Queen of the Mississippi while traveling up and down the Ohio and upper Mississippi rivers\, Steven presents the breadth and expanse of our mighty river in stunning high definition. \nIn this truly unique and joyful show\, Steve’s river images create a perfect setting for his favorite river songs. From “Ol’ Man River” to “Bridge Over Troubled Water\,” “Moon River” to “Proud Mary\,” Steven’s soaring voice will captivate and inspire you. He is a charismatic entertainer and storyteller whose passion for all aspects of the Mighty Mississippi shine in this show. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts \n[twocol_one] \nDate\nSaturday\, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.\, Lyche Theatre \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\n$20 for adults\n$5 for Students\n12 and under – Free \nGet Your Tickets Now »[/twocol_one_last] \n

SUMMARY:Veterans Studio Recognition
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Arts and Veterans\nOne Night Only!\nJoin us for the dedication of the Veterans Studio Theatre. The evening will include ceremony\, dedication and entertainment from “Silent J\,” internet radio entertainer and active-duty soldier. \nAbout Joe “Silent J” Stojelk: A 13-year veteran in the U.S. Army who is currently on active duty in the Army Reserves. He has deployed twice to Iraq in his career and was a gunner and NCOIC on over 250 convoy missions in Iraq. It was during his assignment to Wisconsin at the urging of a fellow soldier that Joe started hosting an online radio show called “The Junk Punch\,” incorporating comedy\, pop culture\, interviews and politics\, along with personal stories. Suffering from PTSD and battling alcohol abuse almost derailed his career and dreams. With the help of friends\, a focus on entertainment and educating fellow veterans and the public has been a driving force in Joe’s life and turn around. Joe currently resides outside Pittsburgh\, PA\, and is the father of a seven-year-old daughter. \nJoin us for a special experience for and about veterans – one night only. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts \n[twocol_one] \nDate\nMonday\, November 11 at 7:00 p.m.\, Veterans Studio Theatre \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nFree\, but tickets are required \nGet Your Tickets Now »[/twocol_one_last] \n
