If there is nothing but matter\, what is consciousness? This is ‘the hard problem’ which puts Hilary at odds with her colleagues who include her first mentor Spike\, her boss Leo and the billionaire founder of the institute\, Jerry. Is the day coming when the computer and the fMRI scanner will answer all the questions psychology can ask? Meanwhile Hilary needs a miracle\, and she is prepared to pray for one. \nClick here for the trailer \nOn-stage performances recorded live for broadcast\nPerformance Schedule\nThe Hard Problem\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nCoriolanus\, Sunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nEvery performance filmed and presented in High Definition with hearing assist available. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts and By Experience \n[twocol_one] \nDates\nDifferent Performance Each Night\nSunday\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nSunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nAll Seats Reserved!\nAdults:  $15\nStudents:  $8 \nGet Your Tickets Now » \n \n[/twocol_one_last]

SUMMARY:Stage on Screen: The Audience
DESCRIPTION:Nominated for three Tony Awards®\, The Audience sees Helen Mirren reprise her Olivier Award-winning performance as Queen Elizabeth II\, following her Academy Award® win for the same role The Queen. Encore screenings of the original West End production of The Audience\, captured live in London in 2013\, feature an exclusive Q&A with Stephen Daldry and Helen Mirren. \nFor sixty years\, Queen Elizabeth II has met with each of her twelve Prime Ministers in a private weekly meeting. Through these private audiences\, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch. \nThe Audience has received three 2015 Tony Award® nominations for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play (Helen Mirren)\, Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role (Richard McCabe) and Best Costume Design (Bob Crowley). SUMMARY:Stage on Screen: Everyman
DESCRIPTION:BAFTA winner and Academy Award® nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) takes the title role in this dynamic new production of one of English drama’s oldest plays\, directed by the National Theatre’s new Director Rufus Norris (Broken\, London Road). \nEveryman is successful\, popular and riding high when Death comes calling. He is forced to abandon the life he has built and embark on a last\, frantic search to recruit a friend\, anyone\, to speak in his defense. But Death is close behind\, and time is running out. \nOne of the great primal\, spiritual myths\, Everyman asks whether it is only in death that we can understand our lives. A cornerstone of English drama since the 15th century\, it now explodes onto the stage in a startling production with words by Carol Ann Duffy\, Poet Laureate\, and movement by Javier De Frutos. \nClick here for the trailer \nOn-stage performances recorded live for broadcast\nPerformance Schedule\nEveryman\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor \nAs You Like It\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nThe Audience\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\, starring Helen Mirren\nThe Hard Problem\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nCoriolanus\, Sunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nEvery performance filmed and presented in High Definition with hearing assist available. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts and By Experience \n[twocol_one] \nDates\nDifferent Performance Each Night\nSunday\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nMonday\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nMonday\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nSunday\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nSunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nAll Seats Reserved!\nAdults:  $15\nStudents:  $8 \nGet Your Tickets Now » \n \n[/twocol_one_last]

SUMMARY:Stage on Screen: Man and Superman
DESCRIPTION:Academy Award® nominee Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient\, Schindler’s List\, Oedipus at the National Theatre) plays Jack Tanner in this exhilarating reinvention of Shaw’s witty\, provocative classic. \nJack Tanner\, celebrated radical thinker and rich bachelor\, seems an unlikely choice as guardian to the alluring heiress\, Ann. But she takes it in her assured stride and\, despite the love of a poet\, she decides to marry and tame this dazzling revolutionary. \nTanner\, appalled by the whiff of domesticity\, is tipped off by his chauffeur and flees to Spain\, where he is captured by bandits and meets The Devil. An extraordinary dream-debate\, heaven versus hell\, ensues. Following in hot pursuit\, Ann is there when Tanner awakes\, as fierce in her certainty as he is in his. \nA romantic comedy\, an epic fairytale\, a fiery philosophical debate\, Man and Superman asks fundamental questions about how we live. \nClick here for trailer \n\n\nOn-stage performances recorded live for broadcast\nPerformance Schedule\nMan & Superman\, February 29\, 2016 at 7:00pm \nEveryman\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor\nAs You Like It\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nThe Audience\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\, starring Helen Mirren\nThe Hard Problem\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nCoriolanus\, Sunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nEvery performance filmed and presented in High Definition with hearing assist available. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts and By Experience \n[twocol_one] \nDates\nDifferent Performance Each Night\nMonday\, February 29\, 2016 at 7:00pm \nSunday\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nMonday\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nMonday\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nSunday\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nSunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nAll Seats Reserved!\nAdults:  $15\nStudents:  $8 \nGet Your Tickets Now » \n \n[/twocol_one_last]

SUMMARY:Stage on Screen: Les Liaisons Dangereuses
DESCRIPTION:Following the hugely successful broadcasts of Coriolanus and King Lear\, National Theatre Live brings the Donmar Warehouse’s highly anticipated new production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses to cinemas – broadcast live from the Donmar’s London home. \nDirected by Josie Rourke (Coriolanus)\, the cast includes Elaine Cassidy (The Paradise)\, Janet McTeer (The Honourable Woman) and Dominic West (The Wire). In 1782\, Choderlos de Laclos’ novel of sex\, intrigue and betrayal in pre-revolutionary France scandalised the world. Two hundred years later\, Christopher Hampton’s irresistible adaptation swept the board\, winning the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Play. Josie Rourke’s revival now marks the play’s thirty year anniversary. \nFormer lovers\, the Marquise de Merteuil and Vicomte de Valmont now compete in games of seduction and revenge. Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the innocent Cecile de Volanges before her wedding night but Valmont has targeted the peerlessly virtuous and beautiful Madame de Tourvel. While these merciless aristocrats toy with others’ hearts and reputations\, their own may prove more fragile than they supposed. \nClick here for the trailer \n\n\nOn-stage performances recorded live for broadcast\nPerformance Schedule\nLes Liaisons Dangereuses\, February 14\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nMan & Superman\, February 29\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nEveryman\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor\nAs You Like It\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nThe Audience\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\, starring Helen Mirren\nThe Hard Problem\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nCoriolanus\, Sunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nEvery performance filmed and presented in High Definition with hearing assist available. \nPresented by Weber Center for the Performing Arts and By Experience \n[twocol_one] \nDates\nDifferent Performance Each Night\nSunday\, February 14\, 2016 at 5:00pm \nMonday\, February 29\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nSunday\, March 13\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nMonday\, March 21\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nMonday\, April 25\, 2016 at 7:00pm\nSunday\, May 15\, 2016 at 5:00pm\nSunday\, June 12\, 2016 at 5:00pm \n[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last] \nPricing\nAll Seats Reserved!\nAdults:  $15\nStudents:  $8 \nGet Your Tickets Now » \n \n[/twocol_one_last]
