DESCRIPTION:Elections. The Twitter. Guns. SUMMARY:All Things Equal: The Life & Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg
DESCRIPTION:In this play\, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (“RBG”) welcomes a friend of the family to her cozy chambers to convey—over the course of ninety fascinating and often funny minutes—a sense of her life and trials: losing her mother the day before she graduated as valedictorian of her Brooklyn high school; being one of only nine young women studying law at Harvard while also raising a daughter and helping her husband battle cancer; fighting for women’s rights in the 1970s before condescending all-male courts; and taking courageous stands for human rights as a voice of reason amid a splintering and increasingly politicized Supreme Court. An evening with a great and compassionate icon of straight-thinking American justice emerges…an RBG who is not only “notorious” but victorious as she takes a stand for ordinary people facing the many challenges of a changing world. Presented by the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT NOTICE:The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center’s official and exclusive ticketing partner is OvationTix. SUMMARY:LIONEL BART'S OLIVER!
DESCRIPTION:Consider Yourself at Home! \n\n\n\nConsider yourself at home with Lionel Bart’s classic musical based on the Charles Dickens novel\, Oliver Twist.  The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver\, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse\, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance among a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin.  \n\n\n\nWhen Oliver is captured for a theft he did not commit\, the benevolent victim\, Mr. Brownlow\, takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout\, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back\, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family. \n\n\n\nOliver! is a musical theatre masterpiece\, perfectly showcasing the talents of a large ensemble cast as they bring these classic characters and score to life. \n\n\n\nA La Crosse Community Theatre Productionby special arrangement with Cameron MackintoshBook\, Music and Lyrics by Lionel BartFreely adapted from Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist \n\n\n\nPresented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
SUMMARY:Deer Camp
DESCRIPTION:We’re Mighty Hunters! \n\n\n\nFour buddies are enjoying their annual deer hunting trip\, but this year is different. After 15 years of them coming home with nothing but a hangover\, their wives have given them an ultimatum: bag a deer\, or your deer camp days are over. Only one hurdle stands in their way— none of them know how to hunt. Do they buy one? Steal one? Could they possibly try to… shoot one? In this wacky musical\, it seems the only ones safe in the woods are the deer\, but with song and dance\, a bit of chance\, and some audience interaction\, their prayers are answered just as they run out of beer. \n\n\n\nWritten by Gene JurekMusic by Doug SpartzMusical Arrangements by Ken Vork \n\n\n\nDeer Camp is presented by special arrangement withBroadway Licensing Global.(www.broadwaylicensing.com) \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates\n\n\n\n\nNovember 29\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nNovember 30\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 6\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 7\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 13\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 14\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 20\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nDecember 21\, 2024 @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPricing
